Belonging for those navigating life alone

About Us

Have you ever noticed how many people are journeying through life with little to no community?

In a culture where daily human connection seems to be dwindling, isolation and loneliness are becoming the norm. This strange new normal not only impacts mental and physical health but leaves us stranded when a need arises. Those of us who are under-resourced and vulnerable feel this the most.

“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood.” John 1:14 MSG

Jesus came into the neighborhood of broken humanity and let His presence impact people as much as His words. He put skin and bones on. Flesh, a substance more than mere words offering a higher neighborhood community to belong to – a community every person has been deeply hoping for.

Join Jesus. Put substance to your words. Provide belonging to the isolated.

Loneliness leads to an increased risk of heart disease, dementia, stroke, depression, anxiety, and premature death.

Belonging changes everything.

We work with local social service agencies to identify neighbors who are isolated and desire community. We then utilize a network of churches to find volunteers who live in their neighborhood. These volunteers make up support teams of two to four followers of Jesus who surround, empower, and engage their neighbor for up to two years. Each volunteer is offered training and consistent support as they invite their neighbor into connection with them and with Jesus.

We know that connection builds courage to grow belonging.
